Two nights in Hong Kong shaped for couples on a Friday-Sunday escape, the city that runs on neon, dim sum, and cross-harbour ferries. Base in Tsim Sha Tsui (Kowloon side, walking distance to the Star Ferry pier and the Avenue of Stars) so the Symphony of Lights happens 200 metres from your hotel and the food streets are 5 minutes' walk in any direction. Day one arrives, eats, and watches the skyline light up. Day two does Victoria Peak in the morning (Peak Tram, Sky Terrace 428), Star Ferry crossing in the afternoon, and a dim sum dinner at Tim Ho Wan (Michelin-starred but ₹1,500 for two; the world's cheapest Michelin meal). Day three is a half-day trip to Lantau, Ngong Ping 360 cable car to Big Buddha, the Po Lin Monastery vegetarian lunch, and an evening flight home. No Macau add-on for the weekend version (it would force a rushed day-trip; for Macau take the 5N package). For couples who want a budget-but-quality long weekend in one of Asia's most photogenic cities.

Hong Kong itself, yes, 2 nights gets you the highlights (Peak, Star Ferry, dim sum, Symphony of Lights, Lantau Big Buddha). For Macau, no, 2 nights doesn't give you the time. Macau needs at least one full day (ferry takes 1 hour each way), and squeezing it into a long weekend means you skip Hong Kong's iconic spots. If Macau is a priority, take the 5N or 6N package. If you want only Hong Kong on this trip, 2 nights works and the weekend feels right.
Hong Kong has a Pre-Arrival Registration (PAR) for Indian passport holders, free, online, takes 1-2 working days. Valid for 6 months, multiple-entry, 14-day stay each visit. We apply for you 7-10 days before travel; you carry the printout. Macau is the same, visa-free for Indians up to 30 days, just walk in. Easier than Schengen by a long way.
Better than people fear. Po Lin Monastery vegetarian lunch (included) is excellent traditional Buddhist veg. Tim Ho Wan has 5+ veg dim sum options (mushroom dumpling, vegetable bun, mango pomelo). Indian restaurants in TST: Bombay Dreams (Wyndham Street), Chutney Mary, Khyber Pass, all veg-friendly. Even the local cafes (cha chaan tengs) have noodles + veg + egg combinations. We pre-mark 8 specific veg-friendly spots on the printed map. For Jain travellers, the Indian restaurants do Jain on request.

Standard hotel check-in is 1.30 PM and check-out 10 AM. For questions specific to your booking, message your planner.
Harbour-side from Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade is genuinely good, free, you see the full skyline, and you're 200m from your hotel. The cruise upgrade (₹1,800/person) gives you a moving viewpoint and a glass of wine, plus you avoid the crowds at peak season. Honest take: the cruise is worth it on Friday-Saturday-Sunday when the promenade gets packed; weekday it's overkill. We let you decide on the day based on what the wait looks like.
October-December is the answer, dry, 18-25°C, low humidity, clear skies for Peak views. January-February are cooler (12-18°C) and equally good for sightseeing. March-May is the rainy/foggy stretch, Peak views often whited-out by mist. June-September is hot/humid (28-33°C, 80%+ humidity) and typhoon-prone (we'll flag if forecast looks dicey). Avoid Chinese New Year week (late Jan / early Feb, dates shift) unless you specifically want the festival; everything's busy and many restaurants close.
